On this page you will find everything that you need to set up your blog.
You need to create a profile section for people to get to know you.
- Click on the Layout tab and pick a spot to add a gadget.
- From the list of gadgets, select Text and call it Time Traveler Profile
- Type in whatever info you need others to know about you as a time traveler.
- Create an alias (fake name) that others close to you might know, but will keep your identity safe.
- Remember to Save it!
From the Pages tab create your first assignment:
- Click on New Page
- Give it a Title of "Travel Assignment #1: Early Colonial Life"
- Type in a brief message - you will need to edit it later
- Hit Publish
- On the Pages page, you need to click on Show pages as: "Side Links" and then Save Arrangement at the top - you may need to add a "PAGES" gadget using the layout tab, clicking "Show All"
- Do this same thing each time you need to add a page.
Next, you need to create a link to the "Time Travel Central" site.
- Click on the Layout tab and pick a spot to add a gadget.
- Find the gadget that is called Link List and click the PLUS button.
- Add the following information and then click save:
- Title: Headquarters
- Number of Items to show: 1
- New Site Name: Time Travel Central
- URL: http://timetravelcentral.blogspot.ca
Finally, you need to create a "POST" that:
- shows what your Wayback Machine looks like
- describes what qualities you have that make you an excellent time traveler
- describes what you hope to learn / see on your expiditions
